Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all purchases made in the MILAAP webshop at milaap.dk. The webshop is operated by:

1. Ordering and contract

An order is placed when you complete the checkout and receive an order confirmation by e-mail. The binding contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel an order in case of obvious pricing errors, sold-out items or suspected fraud; any amount paid will then be refunded in full.

2. Prices and payment

All prices are stated in EUR and include 25% Danish VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before you confirm the order. We accept payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. The amount is charged when the order is placed. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.

3. Delivery

Items can be collected free of charge at MILAAP, Lille Strandvej 19, 2900 Hellerup, by appointment (we contact you by e-mail when the item is ready). Shipping within Denmark and the EU is offered at the rates shown at checkout. Artworks are shipped unframed and flat-packed or in a tube, fully insured. Expected delivery time is 2–7 working days after dispatch. Risk passes to you upon delivery.

4. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). The period runs from the day you receive the item. To exercise the right, notify us unambiguously by e-mail at info@milaap.dk within 14 days; you may use the standard withdrawal form annexed to the Act, but it is not mandatory. Return the item to us within 14 days of your notice. You bear the direct cost of returning the item. Please return items in original packaging; artworks must be handled with care and returned in the condition received. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the item. We refund the purchase price including the original standard shipping cost within 14 days of receiving the item (or proof of return), using the same payment method.

5. Right of complaint

The Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) gives you a 24-month right of complaint for defects present at the time of delivery. Contact us at info@milaap.dk as soon as you discover a defect. Justified complaints are remedied by repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, and we cover reasonable return costs.

6. Limited-edition artworks

Editions are sold as described (edition number, technique, dimensions). Minor variations in colour and paper are inherent to hand-printed editions and do not constitute defects. Certificates or documentation are supplied where indicated in the product description.

7. Personal data

We process your personal data to fulfil your order as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Complaints and disputes

If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may file it with Nævnenes Hus / Center for Klageløsning, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg (naevneneshus.dk), or use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr, quoting our e-mail info@milaap.dk. Danish law applies.
